...ahhh the new life...

Wow, it's been so long since I posted. I didn't realize that until I logged in. So much has changed since December.

I was searching frantically for a job, and after much search I was offered a job in Orlando. The one place I prayed God would not send me was Orlando. But the market is tough, so I accepted and put my house on the market. I quickly learned that after 4 wonderful weeks in a hotel, company paid for of course, that the three short weeks I had with "the french lady" was three too many for me. She has a love affair with mothballs that I just can't seem to forget! I found a new roommate with whom I spent two weeks with and, given the time, would have enjoyed living with. However, I believe that with my realtors distaste of the housing activity and desire to drop the price of the house even lower (my condo in Tallahassee) along with my roommate telling me she was moving out within a month or two, this worked towards God's plan. I requested to work from home, something I prayed over for a week. Not a short prayer time because I didn't feel like praying for it but for a week, but because the time frame between the information from my realtors and my roommate and asking my boss, I only had a week to think and pray about this. God answered my prayers and my boss was more than happy to allow me to work from home saying "If anyone can do this, I think you'd be very successful at it and we'd really benefit from having you there in the panhandle where no one else works." It's amazing how God used my willingness to move to a city I didn't want to move to, to answer my prayers! He is so awesome!!

So I've been home for two weeks now. I'm really getting into my little groove. I've got my dining room table filled with contracts and UB's and paperwork galore, but it's working temporarily. My roommate and I have discussed how when she moves out, I'll use the spare room as an office and a put a bed in there as well. Until then, the dining room table will do. I'm a lot more efficent at home with no distractions and even get to watch Drew pretty reguarly as background noise. I'm still stumped as to why I haven't seen Plinko yet. Come on Price is Right, I wanna see the classic!

My roommate and I have also talked about the fact that when given the opportunity to be alone in the house for days at a time, our routines work better. So I do look forward to the day when it's just me in the house so that I can put in a much better routine, although I'm working on it as hard as I can with someone else in the house.

Well this weekend my roommate has gone home and will come back only for a short bit Sunday to spend the night and take off again on a trip with one of her good friends for three days. I hope in between tonight and Wednesday, when she returns home, that I'll start working with my photography site, to post pictures that I hope people will purchase for personal use. I need to make myself get back out there and photograph things, but this has truly been my very first weekend home to relax and I'm not even sleeping in tomorrow. Nope, it's a garage sale morning! I think I'm going for the fun more than anything.

Well I must go for now, but please, push me with my photography site!! I mean I did graduate with my Bachelors in Visual Arts, I should at least use it as a side business right!!??

Until next time
....A
